There are several ways in which you can contribute to making Conlangery better:
Topic and Featured Language Suggestions: You can email these to firstname.lastname@example.org or use our topic suggestions form to submit them. Make sure to include links for conlang/natlang suggestions (some links on discussion topics helps, too).
Top of Show Greeting: To have your language featured at the top of the show, just translate the line “Welcome to Conlangery, the podcast about constructed languages and the people who create them.” into your conlang and record an audio file (MP3), then send that as an attachment to email@example.com with the word “Greeting” in the subject line. Send it in all your conlangs if you want — we’re always running short. Also, if your native language is something other than English, you can contribute a translation into that as well.
Conlang Script Images: So, I know that I’ve said that I’m done with the album art, but there is another version on my computer that I tinker with every time I get a new script submission. And of course, if your script fits in the site header, I will certainly put it in there. So, translate Conlangery into your conlang (interpretive translations encouraged, phonetic loans accepted), write it in your conscript and send a black-and-white PNG image to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please put “Header” in the subject line.
Be a Guest on the Show: We’re always happy to have guests on to chat with us. Just email email@example.com asking if you can be a guest. You may asked to “audition” with George over Skype beforehand — mainly to check on audio and to see just what areas of conlanging and linguistics you’d best be able to comment on. We usually record at 6 pm ET (US), but that can be adjusted a bit.
And of course, any feedback is always welcome. We look forward to hearing from you.
